Alaback Design was hired to work with the Owner and architect to develop a mountain style residence situated on a steep site overlooking the Arkansas River. The design solution selected by the Owner was a natural stone back porch that included a negative edge swimming pool. “Outdoor rooms” allowed for private events as well as corporate parties.

The planting provided year-round color through spring flowering trees, native shade trees, evergreen trees, and shrubs. The shrub plantings also provide color throughout the season and perennials add color in various seasons.

The property provides a place for the Owners to relax and enjoy nature from inside and outside of the house.
