Centennial Park has won five prestigious design awards. Alaback Design provided the parks’ landscape design for one of Tulsa’s oldest parks. The site plan maximized the preservation of mature trees while achieving the required floodwater storage. A new Senior Center was proposed in the northwest corner of the park, with a large outdoor terrace that overlooks a scenic lake. The new lake creates a focal point in the center of the site, surrounded by boulder walls and native plantings that create a natural appearance.
