Alaback Design was a key member of the team to design major enhancements for OSU’s Center for Health Sciences Campus. The project included the addition of a new storm water detention pond that has become the focal point for the campus. The pond’s design integrates natural boulder edge treatments and aeration fountains. A large terrace that overlooks the pond provides a space for relaxation and student activities. The new terrace is enhanced with decorative paving, shade structures, and innovative site furnishings. The project also accommodates a new walkway, pedestrian lighting, landscaping, and ornamental fencing that will significantly improve the east and north edges of the campus.
